Re: Smiths Speedo
Never seen one!!!!! I wouldn't have thought a Smiths marine speedo to be rare? Smiths sold lots of auto gauges. Below is an ad from an old 1965 Australian Hot Rod magazine. It shows the 'Seaswift' 35mph Boat Speedometer, Im guessing the one I have, would be a 70's model? http://i158.photobucket.com/...

Smiths Marine Speedo
I have come across this Smiths 75mph marine speedo, its new in the box. My searching on the internet hasn't turned up anything about them. Are they uncommon or still avaliable? is there a 50mph unit out there? Cheers Jeff http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t94/fboldn/MySkiff/100_3533.jpg

I didn't know that you were able to cruise the Yarra into the city,
Geez, I wish we could do that on the Torrens in Adelaide
Cheers

Re: Skiff Cockpit Layout Pics
I appreciate that there were not all the same, I was just looking for examples/styles of how it was done.
I want mine to look period correct, I just needed to know what that was.

Re: Skiff Cockpit Layout Pics
Thanks for the offer Dave, much appreciated ;) Dave D took me out to Paul Siddell's place to get some good pics of Screamin Eagle's layout, thanks Dave & Paul for that, and I have searched the net to find all the pics I could. The 'Linda-K' fibreglass hulled skiff is also being displayed for sal...
