On the Old Wooden Power boats FB page there is a guy from WA with a 1955 Lewis that he would like to sell. Needs a bit of work but sounds fairly good condition.
The boatis in WA and he wants $9,000 ono for the boat.

I just thought that I'd let people know that I have just re-insured the Project/ Bazinga So I'll have to get its' bottom wet now. I found the old paperwork and went back to RACV. They were happy to re-insure it for the same value of $4,200 for an increase of about $45 more than last time in 2015/16....

Meranti/Pacific maple is still available. There are some long lengths at Tile Importers in Oakleigh.
