I used to watch Laurie Grimley clean everyone up at Deepwater in his skiffs. The runabouts must have been before my time. Was there when he cleaned up the wharf.
Pretty sure it was Laurie who had the first Mustang I'd ever seen. That was about 1965.

Rhonda Ican'tpronouncehername, the Publicity Officer for the Mid North Coast Power Boat Club (Freddy Williams' Club) is extremely active and probably had a hand in getting this to the local media.

On Thursday I was in Maroochydore, 32 degrees. On Friday I was back at home on NSW Central Coast, 16 degrees and blowing a gale. Can just imagine what it's like further south.

Yes Glenn, I'll let you know as soon I know. Wonder if I watched those movies in Ernie and Mary's lounge room when I was a kid.

Thanks for that, very interesting. I was having a look at "Do" last weekend. She has the Ernie Nunn modified V8 60 back in her and ready for a test run. Not sure when that will be. It's great to see a boat survive all those years.

You're right Andy. I used Photobucket for pics on this forum because on some other forums there is no choice, you have to use an image hosting mob. In my spare time (Ha!) I'll go back and redo some of the pics that have now disappeared.
