Could run two pick ups that join into one to for your raw water feed into the heat exchanger. That's what I've done on a couple boats, no strainers.

Quickly Too was kindly brought across from Tassie to South Australia and is now owned by my father Gary, who'd always wanted a rear seater Hydro. I was just about to ask about insurance because the cover for Jayme II through through AB Phillips, NM Insurance has increased nearly 25% and I wondered whether anyone was still using them or people have found other insurers? Thanks
