Yep Bob cut 4 inches off the stern of Turbo Fire when restored so good observation mate if it was original it would be the same distance!!

Thanks for the discussion and points made. While I agree with everyone you may have missed my point! Turbo Fire and Torea are Lewis sister’s and have their props well away from the skeg possibly being a design oversight or unknown issue back in the day? I wonder if Electric Girl has the same issue D...

Ahoy all!! I can happily and more importantly report my first water trial/test went surprisingly well!! Original owner/builder Grant Lovell told me he always had trouble getting it on the plane? Hi Ross. Yes mate probably more swept back than original I have been communicating with Bob Carter, it appears it was possibly an old school unknown factor back in the day?? I have attached Bobs last text for info, cheers mate

While I’m on a roll I have messaged Bob Carter re Turbo Fire being Toreas twin, after that I looked up Turbo Fire under readers boats site on web page and there you go!
