Re: insurance

Yes, but knowing my luck, if you made a claim, The question will be: was the engine cover fitted at the time?
I cannot believe it is the insurance company's policy. I think they also do the insurance for the Seacraft/Syndicate boats, that would put 70% of those out as well

Guys, Well the insurance issue has raised its head again. I was up for renewal for Scrubcat. ABPhillips asked me for some current pictures which I provided. This morning Sandi from ABPhillips phoned quite perplexed, evidently Nautilus (who were covering our boats) are not insuring boats with open en...

Re: Prop location!!!

Ahoy Chivs,
I think this is where the dark art comes in! Steinway for example, has a huge distance between prop and rudder...still turns
Turbo Fire has a distance between prop and skeg, still turns. I visually see more distance in Torea's case, but if that's the way it was...

Re: Prop location!!!

Captain, I am not concerned about prop to rudder, I've seen props miles away from rudders, and the boat still turns on a sixpence. Re: Aquafest 2020

Bugger Graham, that bum puckering only comes around rarely. The only chance i will have this year will be the same as last year, flying in for the day. Scrubcat is still "in progress" for this year... Al has made some significant changes for this freshen up, hopefully back on the water for...
