I understand you have done some work to the boat until you back gave out. can you send me a few pics of what state the boat is in now. i assume the motor is untouched?

Hi all Have been experimenting with scarfing some ply, in preparation of replacing some planks. I Practised on some structural ply first and the finish especially on the feather edge was not that good, a practice on some marine ply yielded a better result, with a 2mm jagged edge, see phot attached. ...

Hi damo, nice looking project, you should be proud. What Ric is referring to is the balance of the rudder itself, not related to the cav plate. Imagine if you put the rudder on backwards, you could never hope to hold the wheel straight, I.e too much rudder in front of shaft, to lighten the steering ...
