The trailer looks ok Bob. As you say the weight will make a difference.
Ah yes metalwork. The grinding dust is the worst. Sparks around wood and flammables is also a constant worry. Anyway you're making good progress.

Yes Ian did mention the surfacing prop that hung out past the transom as well as not running a cav plate. It was a wild and dangerous ride until they stumbled on another prop that sorted it.
