Craig what are you using to generate the steam?. you need lots of hot wet steam to make the ribs do what you want them to do. the rule of thumb in an hour per inch of thickness i found that it really needed 3 hours of constant steaming. when it has steamed enough it will become like rubber but you ...

Is this the normal way of doing ribs ,i had the impression the planks were fitted the the ribs were fitted later.I have notised small nails in the ribs which i thought held them in place until they were nailed and roved . Well after yesterdays fails I've done some MORE research and changed a few things. I've now had some success doing trial bends way tighter than I would need.
