Good point Graeme. We did discover a dip in the hull at a little bit aft of the new scarf. I guess this could cause a low pressure area that would suck the boat to the water. Fingers crossed we may gain a bit more speed. I'm thinking not having to drag around a heap of water on the inside may help c...
A little more today. Glued in new keel section after plugging plank nail holes in the transom and made a start on cleaning up transom face for repairs there.

Thanks Greg. I'd love to see both again. It seems like years since seeing boats in the water. This winter also seems longer. I'll be boat less at Narrandera as well. Best I get back to it in the shed.
