Yeh, thanks for your comments guys. I think i got it in time, only surface rust on bores. Bit of loose rust in the water jackets, ill take it to an engine builder and see what he says. going to need a at least a hone, new bearings, rebuild heads. Rebuild has got to be cheaper than a $3000 new engine...

It was good to meet some of you guys at the get together at Bonnels Bay recently, unfortunatly my boat Termite II blew a head gasket sometime during the day and now the motor is stuffed. After pulling it down it needs a full rebuild as it was salt water that blended with my oil causing a catastrophe...

What a way to spend a day. Great weather, awesome water, beautiful beach and some very nice powerboats. It was good to finally meet some of you guys and was really stoked to have gone along. Thanks guy, im looking forward to it. I havent had the boat out this season yet ( leaky sump repair taking too long, motorvation rapidly building though).
Never been to Glenbawn, sounds alright though.
