Re: Aquafest 2020
Hi Chivs, I have not had a chance to run Pace Set'r in the configuration we discussed at Narrandera. However at a recent club picnic day in full circuit race trim it achieved 85.5 MPH on a 700 metre course with waves everywhere. I then headed off towards the island in search of better water and mana...

Re: Aquafest 2020
Craig, While there is no formal scrutineering for Aquafest the following gives an idea of the expected standard that boats should self scrutineer to. Life Jacket Australian standards approved. Consideration should be given to a life-jacket with a collar and leg straps if your open boat has a top spe...

Aquafest 2020
Entries for Aquafest 2020 to be held on the 4-5 April are now open at https://www.registernow.com.au/secure/R ... px?E=37295 . Boat numbers have been limited this year so if you intend taking part I would not delay in submitting an entry.

Re: Inland Classic date change
Nathan,
That is great news as the proposed dates do not clash with the Moorook Muster held in SA so I will have the opportunity to attend both events.
Good to see that both parties recognise that the previous dates did not work.

Re: Narrandera
Pace Set'r will not be coming this year as it is set up for a high speed run if we can ever get smooth water. Iam not sure it would get on the plan on Lake Talbot as it is configured with an 18 " prop. The good news is Rascala is coming with us so more photo ops with Ken.

Here are couple of shots of Mindy Ann taken at Laidley in June 2014. 3 bags of cement in the front kept the hull trimmed.

Re: 12 foot simpkin skiff
Nathan, I was unpacking some boxes from storage today and came across the program for the 1974 Griffith Cup held at Lake Eppalock and there appeared an entry in the 100ci scratch race for one "Hairy" a corolla powered skiff driven by N. Potts. Bee Pee and Rascala also get a mention.

Re: Winter projects
Well, Pace Set'r is all repaired and back up the right way with all hardware installed. :D Just have to wait until the river water temp goes up 10 degrees or so before I will be trailing it. Its been freezing over this way lately. Rascala went in the shed running so I am assuming it will come out th...

Looks likes another good find Nathan. Now you just have to find the time to restore it to it former glory.
