FF SURE is a 17' Lewis racing skiff.

It was built in 1965 for new owner H J (Jimmy) Smith, who intended on breaking the 100 mph speed barrier with the boat

 

   

 

In a 1967 attempt, the boat achieved 92 mph running a fuel injected
283 ci V8
 

 

The boat was raced as COBRA at one time during its race career
 

 

The boat was obtained in its COBRA livery by Dave Pagano in the mid 1990's and during its restoration, the original name of FF SURE was discovered under the paintwork
 

 

The boat was repainted as FF SURE and has been a regular around the classic boat scene since
