Miss Michinbury

I first remember Miss Michinbury coming on the seen at the 2007 Goolwa Wooden Boat Festival, where it created quite a stir

Miss Michinbury is a 22' triple cockpit Chris-Craft 100, launched in 1930 in Michigan in the USA. It had been ordered by the Penfold wine family in South Australia, who owned it for some 30 years.

The mahogany craft was then sold to a family who used it on the Torrens River to commute to their house that was a located on an island on the river

The boat was then sold in 2005 and then again a few years later. Last known location of the boat was in Sydney, where it was being offered for sale again.

Miss Michinbury still runs it original 75 HP 6 cylinder Chrysler Marine engine
